Disposals are made for grinding up scraps of food waste. They are not designed to grind bones or whole turkeys. Also, never overload the disposal. Large helpings of potato or carrot peelings will clog the disposal and the drain.

When unclogging a drain start with the simplest method first. Use some type of drain cleaner, plunger, unhook the drain line (trap), run a snake, call a plumber.

It is easier to make a cheap paint look good with expensive rollers and brushes than it is to make expensive paint look good with cheap rollers and brushes.

Use masking tape or box tape on rollers to get all of the loose lint off prior to painting.

For the best results use primer prior to applying the finish coat. A good prep job will save time and money and give you the results you want.

A good way to save time on clean-up when you are not finished with a job is to leave paint on the rollers or brushes and place them in their own plastic bag, then put that bag in the freezer. The next morning just thaw them out and they will be good to go.
